EM Strasbourg Business School is a French business school created in 1919 in Strasbourg, Alsace. Since 2000 it is one of the elite grandes écoles in France, ranking in the top 15 business schools in the nation. It is the only French Business School to operate under the umbrella of a traditional University: the University of Strasbourg. The school is the only one in France to be ranked in the Shanghai academic ranking of world Universities through its affiliation with the University of Strasbourg.
From a qualitative perspective, EM Strasbourg Business School has been awarded three recognitions since 2008.
The EPAS label (EFMD Programme Accreditation System) rewards international training courses meeting the excellence requirements of higher education in management. It is awarded by the EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) who also issues the EQUIS label.
EM Strasbourg Business School has been granted Qualicert Services Certification for three years following an audit conducted late March 2010 by Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS ICS - 191 Avenue Aristide Briand - 94237 Cachan Cedex - France), an independent certification body.
EM Strasbourg Business School in September 2008 was awarded the Qualéthique Label for three years by the Cercle d'Éthique des Affaires (Business Ethics Circle). The Qualéthique Label serves to distinguish companies and other organisations that commit, in their governance and operations, to complying with the application of criteria based on respect for human beings; preserving the environment, resources and the natural habitat; taking into account cultural and intellectual values; taking an ethical approach to money related issues and ensuring the quality of information and communication.
