Gothenburg University was established in 1891 with the help of private donations and now it has become a comprehensive university with 80 departments, 37,000 enrollment and more than 4000 employees. The School was founded in 1923 as an independent business college. Today it has approximately 7000 students and about 500 faculties and is one of the three schools in Sweden which obtained EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System is international recognition of quality of the organization.) accreditation along with Stockholm School of Economics and the Business School of Lund University. Gothenburg is a famous port city in Sweden. It is situated by the Kattegat, on the west coast of Sweden, near the Gota Canal and off the north part of Denmark. The city has a beautiful landscape and is located at the mouth of Gota River, the largest river in Sweden.
