Vice Dean of the Business School of Washington State University Came to Visit SWUFE

On March 6th 2014, Dr. David Whidbee, vice dean of the Business School of Washington State University, came to visit SWUFE. Kou Gang, executive dean of School of Business Administration, Tang Mingfeng, director of both Office of International Affairs and China-France Innovation Center, Teacher Liao Yi, Teacher Zhu Min and staff in the Foreign Affair Office joined the meeting.
Dean Kou Gang extended warm welcome to the visit by Dr. David Whidbee on behalf of the School of Business Administration and affirmed the exchange program between the two schools. Later the two sides discussed potential area in which they can extend further cooperation. Since 2010, the School of Business Administration has been running the exchange program with the Business School of Washington State University. The business school has now received 62 students of SWUFE. In the spring semester, the School of Business Administration received 17 students from Washington State University, who feel comfortable about the study life in SWUFE. School of Business Administration welcome students of Washington State University to study in SWUFE.
In the afternoon, Dr. David Whidbee joined the Sixth WSU-SWUFE Venture Contest and acted as the judge. Ten teams joined the contest, who came from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, University of Electronic Science and technology and Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The atmosphere in the contest was warm and there was a successful end to it.
