Wisdom without Borders, Gathering on Clouds: FBA Held the 1st SWUFE Gala for International Mobility Programs’ Virtual Promotion


On 9 March, Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) successfully held the 1st SWUFE Gala for International Mobility Programs’ Virtual Promotion. Representatives of 16 partners from Austria, Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, the United States and China Hong Kong SAR participated online. The Gala was advocated and supported by Professor Kou Gang, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, and was hosted by Professor Tang Mingfeng, Assistant Dean in charge of International Affairs Office and Director of Sino-French Innovation Research Center.

To start the Gala, Professor Tang extended a warm welcome and sincere thanks to all representatives and students on behalf of FBA. Then, every presentative presented their institutions and programmes, gave detailed introduction to the courses, accommodation, fees, application requirements etc. that students care about most, and fully answered students’ questions. Meanwhile, two exchange students who had been to Vienna University of Economics and Business in Austria and Technische Universität Dresden in Germany were invited to share their exchange experiences, telling some interesting stories and providing practical information to participants.

The haze of the COVID-19 cannot stop the process and enthusiasm of global learning and exchanges. SWUFE Gala lasted for more than four hours, gathering teachers and students from all over the world online to discuss exchanges and cooperation together, face challenges hand in hand, create new models, cooperate with more openness, integration and resilience, and provide students more online and offline learning opportunities.
