About the Lecturer:
Dr. Wang Shouyang, a researcher, Ph.D supervisor, and an academician, is the President of School of Management, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Director of Prediction Science Research Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician of the Third World Academy of Sciences, the member of the International Academy of Systems and Control Sciences, and the Chief Editor of Systems Engineering theory and Practice and Management Review. He is also a member of the discipline evaluation group of the Academic Degree Committee of the State Council, a member of the expert group for Major Research Projects in emergency management of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a member of the evaluation committee of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, a member of the "National post doctoral expert management committee" of the Ministry of Personnel, the chairman of the Chinese Society of Systems Engineering, the chairman of the International Society of Knowledge and Systems Science, and the Deputy Manager of the China Association of Operations Research President, President of China Association for Policy Making.
About the Lecture:
In recent years, business model and innovation on business model is regarded as one of the heatedly-researched areas in Business Administration. Business model is one of the most important topics discussed by business leaders or some important business management conferences (such as the Academy of Management's Annual Meeting).
This lecture will introduce the basic concept of business model and some research progress of business model, including some research of the team led by the lecturer, such as Iceberg Theory of Business Model. Finally, the lecturer will also point out several research directions and problems that worth to be paid attention to in the field of Business Model Research.
