About the Lecturer:

Li Feng is an associate professor at the Department of Logistics, School of Management, Huazhong University of Science and Technology.He received his PhD degree in Systems Engineering at Northeastern University in 2016 and did postdoctoral research at Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2016 to 2017.His main research directions include production scheduling, logistics optimization, portfolio optimization, etc.Research findings have been mainly published in INFORMS Journal on Computing (3 papers in UTD), Naval Research Logistics, European Journal of Operational Research, Transportation Research Part E and other internationally renowned journals.He was selected into the Chutian Talent Program of Hubei Province in 2019.

About the Lecture:

Steel industry is a pillar industry of China's national economy, a fundamental industry related to the national economy and people's livelihood, and a core hub of the industrial chain.Steel production process is characterized by multi-stage production and hot chain logistics network.This report mainly focuses on the theoretical method research of the new batch scheduling problem of production and logistics which is extracted from the actual production and logistics management process of steel.
